s16 film festival 2023

The S16 Film Festival 2023, held at the Alliance Française de Lagos / Mike Adenuga Centre from December 7th to 10th, celebrated African cinema's rich diversity under the theme "To God Be The Glory."

With a program featuring 10 short films, 5 foreign films, and 5 feature films, the festival explored the theme of Optimism and Positivity, highlighting the challenges of daily life and community interactions. Notable elements included dialogue sessions empowering emerging filmmakers, interactive activities like a storyboard wall, and an average daily attendance of 250-350 participants.

The Festival was supported by Kuramo Capital Management, the French Embassy, the Dutch Embassy, Quacktails, and LaLa’s Lagos.
