s16 film festival 2022

For the second edition of the S16 film Festival which took place from the 9th - 12th of December 2022. The festival which held across two major locations aimed to primarily shine light on the prolific evolution of Nigerian Cinema over the years by means of a retrospective Exhibition and screening of the works and life of Mr Tunde Kelani, A pioneer in Nigerian Cinema. The festival also endowed Mr Tunde Kelani with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the film industry.

In addition, The festival showcased  11 short films and 3 feature-length films within the art-house genre again from the continent and diaspora, collaborating once again with the Dutch embassy for the screening of a Dutch African Film and for the closing party.
